More than 253 students from six batches, consisting of 2nd and 3rd-year Computer Science, AI, ML, and Data Science students, witnessed the training program. It was the first experience of working with big data frameworks and distributed computing tools for many of them in a live environment.
Students learned hands-on exposure to the same professional tools used for data engineering and AI domains.
- Process and manage huge datasets using Hadoop
- Execute and write queries using Hive
- Use Apache Pig for transforming and processing data
- Utilize Jupyter for data analysis and visualization with Python

Professors enjoyed how convenient it was to manage and track student progress. They could assign exercises, check outputs, and walk them through live sessions, making learning easier and more engaging.
